PLA print temperature and settings
The easiest filament to print: low warping, little smell, crisp detail, and the default for most hobby printing.
Across the 54 PLA lines we track, the median recommended range is 210–220 °C at the nozzle and 55–60 °C on the bed. Protopasta starts lowest (185 °C) and Extrudr goes highest (250 °C).
What you need to print PLA
No enclosure neededPrints fine on an open-frame printer.

Good for
- prototypes and models
- decorative prints
- first prints on a new printer
