How we know a part fits

We read the product listings of printer makers and parts stores and record which printers each one names, including lists like “Neptune 3 Pro/Plus/Max” and ranges like “X1/P1 Series”. Vague claims such as “fits most printers” are ignored, and so are printers a listing says it does not fit.

Printer specs come from the slicer profiles the community maintains for OrcaSlicer, and filament temperatures from the values each brand publishes. Owners can report a part that did or didn't fit, and confirmed reports are marked as verified. Read the full method.

Frequently asked questions

Where does the compatibility information come from?

From the product listings of printer makers and 18 parts stores. Each part shows the listing text it was read from, so you can check the claim before buying.

Does a part listed here definitely fit my printer?

It means the maker or seller says it fits. Check the quoted note for revisions, adapters or firmware requirements. Parts confirmed by owner reports are marked "Verified fit".

How often is the catalog updated?

The catalog is rebuilt from every source weekly, so new printers and parts appear and discontinued listings drop off.

Is 3D Printer Fits paid by the stores?

Store links are not paid. Amazon search links are affiliate links and are labeled. Payment never affects which parts are shown for a printer.
