Across the 28 ABS lines we track, the median recommended range is 248–258 °C at the nozzle and 90–105 °C on the bed. TEQStone starts lowest (210 °C) and Bambu Lab goes highest (270 °C).

Frequently asked questions

What temperature should I print ABS at?

Most brands recommend about 248–258 °C at the nozzle and 90–105 °C on the bed (median of 28 brands). Use your brand's own range when you have it.

Do I need an enclosure for ABS?

Yes. ABS warps and cracks in drafts; an enclosed, warm printer gives far better results.

Does ABS need a hardened nozzle?

No. A standard brass nozzle is fine.
